Thomas Automotive loves our community and local businesses! We're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible, and we want to recognize other local businesses that do the same.

 

Thomas Automotive is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 100 years. Mark Thomas is the fourth generation of the Thomas family to lead the company. He is committed to continuing the legacy of his family by providing customers with the best possible automotive experience and upholding the core values of trust, dedication, and safety.

Randy's BiLo
Windber, PA and Johnstown, PA

Randy's BiLo is a family-owned grocery store that serves the communities of Winder and Johnstown, PA .  The store is known for its fresh produce, meats, and seafood, as well as its friendly and knowledgeable staff. 

"We pride ourselves on being a surprising store.  While not the largest in the area, but on that has a lot more than you would think." says owner Randy Salem.  Randy started working in the business in 1979 when BiLo was formally known as GEE BEE.  In 2008, Randy purchased both the Winder and Johnstown locations and that's when it became Randy's BiLo.  

 

Saint Francis University - Red Flash Athletics Sponsorship

Distance is no match for great partnerships! The Thomas Subaru team had our premier Subaru lineup directly on the campus of Saint Francis University.

We set up a showcase right outside the Maurice Stokes Athletics Center, where the Red Flash community gave an incredibly warm welcome to the versatile Crosstrek, the sporty Impreza, and the adventurous Outback. As the exclusive automotive sponsor of SFU Athletics, our team loves showing up to support the university and cheering on the Red Flash from near or far!

Cumberland Subaru Share the Love Event

We wrapped up the Subaru Share the Love Event with a heart full of gratitude! Thanks to the incredible support and choices of our Cumberland customers, Thomas Cumberland Subaru was honored to present a check for over $14,000 to the Western Maryland Food Bank.

These funds go directly toward supporting families, stocking local pantries, and ensuring that no one in our community has to go hungry. We are deeply grateful to our customers who bought, leased, or serviced a vehicle during the event to help make this impactful donation possible. Thank you, Cumberland, for partnering with us to support such an essential hometown charity!

Cumberland Subaru Loves the Earth Tree Giveaway

In celebration of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, Thomas Cumberland Subaru was thrilled to partner with our neighbors to bring a little more nature to local backyards! Our dealership welcomed a fantastic delivery of free, ready-to-plant trees specifically for the Cumberland community to help grow a cleaner, greener region.

These young trees do so much more than enhance a landscape-they play a vital role in cooling our neighborhoods, improving local air quality, and creating essential habitats for area wildlife. We love investing in our local environment and appreciate our community's shared commitment to keeping Cumberland beautiful!

Allegany County Animal Shelter Pet Adoption Event

We had an amazing time hosting our pet adoption event alongside the Allegany County Animal Shelter right here at the dealership! October is Subaru Loves Pets Month, and there is nothing we love more than helping local homeless pets find the loving, forever families they truly deserve.

Our lot was filled with some of the sweetest dogs, all ready to bring a lifetime of loyalty and joy to their new homes. A massive thank you to the incredible team at the Allegany County Animal Shelter for their tireless work, and to everyone in our community who came out to show support, volunteer, or welcome a brand-new best friend into their lives!

UPMC Western Maryland Hospital Subaru Loves to Care Blanket Delivery

As part of the nationwide Subaru Loves to Care initiative, the team at Thomas Cumberland Subaru was deeply honored to visit UPMC Western Maryland Hospital to deliver cozy blankets to patients.

Dealing with a hospital stay is never easy, and our team is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spread a little extra warmth, hope, and comfort to our neighbors when they need it most. We are immensely proud to partner with local healthcare facilities and take part in initiatives that bring real, tangible comfort directly to the heart of our community!

Cat Yoga Benefiting Allegany County Animal Shelter

Cat Yoga was back and it was a huge success!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a wonderful event benefitting the Allegany County Animal Shelter. Your support helps a great cause and makes a real difference for the animals. 😻🧘‍♀️

Subaru Loves the Earth & Arbor Day Event

In honor of Subaru Loves the Earth and our Arbor Day event, we were thrilled to donate several trees to our local LaVale Library, in addition to giving away 100 free trees to community members!

We're so thankful for everything the library does for our community. We love helping and supporting the place we call home. We invite you to join us in making our community a better place by choosing your next vehicle from us!

We were so excited to present a check to our hometown charity, Holding Hands for Hailey! Thanks to everyone who purchased, leased, or serviced a car with us during the Subaru Share the Love event. Your support made a huge difference, and we're so proud to give back to our community. It's just one more reason to love driving a Subaru from Thomas Subaru!

Pet Adoption Event

October was a paw-some month at our dealership! 🐶 We hosted a pet adoption event to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month and helped several furry friends find their forever homes. It was a blast meeting local vendors and seeing the community come together. We love supporting our local businesses and making a difference in the lives of animals.

Subaru Loves Learning

We're thrilled to be part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative! 📚✏️ Together with Thomas Automotive Subaru, we're empowering teachers and students with the tools they need to succeed.

Allegany Soccer Camp

We believe in fostering a strong and vibrant community. Giving back is at the heart of our values, and we're proud to support local initiatives that make a positive impact.

We were excited to partner with the Allegany Soccer Camp as a sponsor! It's an incredible program that inspires young athletes and promotes teamwork. Supporting our community's youth is essential, and we're thrilled to contribute to their growth and development through sports.

Subaru Loves to Care

At Thomas Automotive, we believe in giving back to the community.  That's why we partnered with Subaru and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate cozy blankets to cancer patients undergoing treatment at UPMC. We hope these blankets bring comfort and a sense of community to those fighting this disease.

We're excited to share that, through the Subaru Share the Love program, we were able to donate to CASA of Western Maryland. CASA's tireless advocacy for abused and neglected children is truly inspiring, and we're proud to partner with such a remarkable organization.

Thomas Subaru and Operation Warm Join Forces

As part of Subaru Loves to Help® this February, Thomas Subaru partnered with Operation Warm to ensure children in need receive warm winter clothes, shoes, and socks. Our contribution empowers the Cumberland YMCA to support local children. These gifts that were delivered in the 2024 Subaru Ascent not only keep kids warm but also boost their confidence, enable regular school attendance, and allow them to thrive. 

Easter for Eli

Easter for Eli, a local non-profit organization, works tirelessly to bring joy to children in hospitals during the Easter season. This year, Thomas Automotive proudly joined their efforts by filling a 2024 Subaru Forester with Easter baskets brimming with age-appropriate gifts for these young patients. We believe that even a small gesture can make a big difference, and we hope our contribution will help brighten their Easter and bring a smile to their faces.

Subaru Share the Love Event

The holiday season is brimming with love at Thomas Subaru and beyond! During the 2023 Subaru Share the Love Event, not only will you drive away in a fantastic new car, like the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, but you'll also be spreading joy to worthy causes. With every Subaru purchase or lease, Thomas Subaru will donate $250 to your chosen charity from a selection of national and local organizations. Additionally, for each vehicle sold or leased, an extra $100 will be donated to CASA of Western Maryland, a vital community resource. Let's celebrate the season of giving by sharing the love with those in need!

The pet adoption event at Thomas Cumberland, featuring delightful pups and playful kittens from the Allegany County Animal Shelter, was a resounding success! The team at Thomas Cumberland takes pride in supporting their community and assisting animals in need. Our dealership is also pet friendly! Subaru Loves Learning

Committed to ensuring every child has an equal chance at a great education, Thomas Subaru provided essential supplies in a 2024 Subaru Ascent to Northeast Elementary through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Additionally, thanks to the generosity of our community, a school supply drive further enriched the donation! We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed.
