Thomas Automotive loves our community and local businesses! We're committed to providing our customers with the best service possible, and we want to recognize other local businesses that do the same.

 

Thomas Automotive is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 100 years. Mark Thomas is the fourth generation of the Thomas family to lead the company. He is committed to continuing the legacy of his family by providing customers with the best possible automotive experience and upholding the core values of trust, dedication, and safety.

Randy's BiLo
Windber, PA and Johnstown, PA

Randy's BiLo is a family-owned grocery store that serves the communities of Winder and Johnstown, PA .  The store is known for its fresh produce, meats, and seafood, as well as its friendly and knowledgeable staff. 

"We pride ourselves on being a surprising store.  While not the largest in the area, but on that has a lot more than you would think." says owner Randy Salem.  Randy started working in the business in 1979 when BiLo was formally known as GEE BEE.  In 2008, Randy purchased both the Winder and Johnstown locations and that's when it became Randy's BiLo.  

 

Cat Yoga Benefiting Allegany County Animal Shelter

Cat Yoga was back and it was a huge success!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a wonderful event benefitting the Allegany County Animal Shelter. Your support helps a great cause and makes a real difference for the animals. 😻🧘‍♀️

Subaru Loves the Earth & Arbor Day Event

In honor of Subaru Loves the Earth and our Arbor Day event, we were thrilled to donate several trees to our local LaVale Library, in addition to giving away 100 free trees to community members!

We're so thankful for everything the library does for our community. We love helping and supporting the place we call home. We invite you to join us in making our community a better place by choosing your next vehicle from us!

Holding Hands for Hailey

We were so excited to present a check to our hometown charity, Holding Hands for Hailey! Thanks to everyone who purchased, leased, or serviced a car with us during the Subaru Share the Love event. Your support made a huge difference, and we're so proud to give back to our community. It's just one more reason to love driving a Subaru from Thomas Subaru!

Pet Adoption Event

October was a paw-some month at our dealership! 🐶 We hosted a pet adoption event to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month and helped several furry friends find their forever homes. It was a blast meeting local vendors and seeing the community come together. We love supporting our local businesses and making a difference in the lives of animals.

Subaru Loves Learning

We're thrilled to be part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative! 📚✏️ Together with Thomas Automotive Subaru, we're empowering teachers and students with the tools they need to succeed.

Allegany Soccer Camp

We believe in fostering a strong and vibrant community. Giving back is at the heart of our values, and we're proud to support local initiatives that make a positive impact.

We were excited to partner with the Allegany Soccer Camp as a sponsor! It's an incredible program that inspires young athletes and promotes teamwork. Supporting our community's youth is essential, and we're thrilled to contribute to their growth and development through sports.

Subaru Loves to Care

At Thomas Automotive, we believe in giving back to the community.  That's why we partnered with Subaru and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate cozy blankets to cancer patients undergoing treatment at UPMC. We hope these blankets bring comfort and a sense of community to those fighting this disease.

We're excited to share that, through the Subaru Share the Love program, we were able to donate to CASA of Western Maryland. CASA's tireless advocacy for abused and neglected children is truly inspiring, and we're proud to partner with such a remarkable organization.

Thomas Subaru and Operation Warm Join Forces

As part of Subaru Loves to Help® this February, Thomas Subaru partnered with Operation Warm to ensure children in need receive warm winter clothes, shoes, and socks. Our contribution empowers the Cumberland YMCA to support local children. These gifts that were delivered in the 2024 Subaru Ascent not only keep kids warm but also boost their confidence, enable regular school attendance, and allow them to thrive. 

Easter for Eli

Easter for Eli, a local non-profit organization, works tirelessly to bring joy to children in hospitals during the Easter season. This year, Thomas Automotive proudly joined their efforts by filling a 2024 Subaru Forester with Easter baskets brimming with age-appropriate gifts for these young patients. We believe that even a small gesture can make a big difference, and we hope our contribution will help brighten their Easter and bring a smile to their faces.

Subaru Share the Love Event

The holiday season is brimming with love at Thomas Subaru and beyond! During the 2023 Subaru Share the Love Event, not only will you drive away in a fantastic new car, like the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, but you'll also be spreading joy to worthy causes. With every Subaru purchase or lease, Thomas Subaru will donate $250 to your chosen charity from a selection of national and local organizations. Additionally, for each vehicle sold or leased, an extra $100 will be donated to CASA of Western Maryland, a vital community resource. Let's celebrate the season of giving by sharing the love with those in need!

Pet Adoption Event at Thomas Cumberland

The pet adoption event at Thomas Cumberland, featuring delightful pups and playful kittens from the Allegany County Animal Shelter, was a resounding success! The team at Thomas Cumberland takes pride in supporting their community and assisting animals in need. Our dealership is also pet friendly! So bring in your four-legged friend to test drive a pet approved Subaru, like the 2024 Subaru Outback. 

Subaru Loves Learning

Committed to ensuring every child has an equal chance at a great education, Thomas Subaru provided essential supplies in a 2024 Subaru Ascent to Northeast Elementary through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Additionally, thanks to the generosity of our community, a school supply drive further enriched the donation! We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed.
